how we do it
AboutKidz exists because of the generosity of many individuals and businesses in the greater Sacramento area. First Day, Game Day, and Graduation Day are made possible through grants, fundraising events and campaigns, cash donations, and countless volunteer hours.
GRANTS
The Country Club Optimist Club and Pacific Housing provide grant funds that supports the Game Day program. We also receive support from Sacramento County for Graduation Day and First Day.
GOLF TOURNAMENT
A significant portion of our annual program budget is raised through this fantastic event. We are currently seeking hole sponsors, raffle donations, and golfers for our upcoming tournament.
DONATIONS
Financial donations can be made via PayPal or with a credit or debit card.
VOLUNTEER
Each year we need hundreds of volunteers to make each of our programs and events a success. Your volunteer hours immediately improve the life of a low-income or at-risk child, AND are an investment in the future of that child.
